Product introduction

Desalination is the production of fresh water by desalting seawater. It is an open source incremental technology to realize the utilization of water resources, which can increase the total amount of fresh water, and is not affected by time, space and climate. It has good water quality and reasonable price, and can ensure stable water supply for coastal residents and industrial boilers. The process of obtaining fresh water from seawater is called desalination. At present, the seawater desalination methods used are freezing method, electrodialysis method, distillation method, reverse osmosis method, and the reverse osmosis method using reverse osmosis membrane rapidly occupies the market with its advantages of simple equipment, easy maintenance and modular equipment, and gradually replaces the distillation method to become the most widely used method.

Seawater reverse osmosis, also known as ultrafiltration, is a membrane separation desalination method that was only adopted in 1953. Seawater and fresh water are separated by a semi-permeable membrane that allows only the solvent to pass through, but not the solute. The biggest advantage of reverse osmosis is that it saves energy. Its energy consumption is only 1/2 that of electrodialysis and 1/40 that of distillation. Therefore, since 1974, developed countries such as the United States and Japan have turned their development focus to reverse osmosis.

Reverse osmosis desalination technology is developing rapidly, engineering costs and operating costs continue to decrease, the main development trend is to reduce the operating pressure of reverse osmosis membrane, improve the recovery rate of reverse osmosis system, cheap and efficient pretreatment technology, and enhance the anti-pollution ability of the system.

Main features

Operating conditions

Based on the stable and safe operation of the reverse osmosis system, the following water intake requirements (effluent requirements of pretreatment equipment) are proposed:

(1) Pollution index SDI: ≤5;

(2) Residual chlorine < 0.1mg/1(OT method);

(3) Oxygen consumption < 2mg/1(Mn method);

(4) turbidity < 1.0NTU;

(5) Concentrated water Langliere index LSI < 0;

(6) Water temperature range 5 ~ 35℃.
