Equipment Introduction

Medium filter is a kind of filter medium to remove the suspended matter in the water, microorganisms, and other fine particles, and ultimately to reduce water turbidity, purification of water quality effect of a high efficiency filtration equipment. Commonly used filter media are quartz sand, active carbon, anthracite, manganese sand and so on.

Media filter can use a single medium, can also be used according to different needs of a variety of media. Single medium filter is also called shallow medium filter, its main filter medium is generally quartz sand, granite and volcanic gravel, etc.. Multilayer media filter is also called deep media filter, its filter media is composed of more than one kind of filter media, general quartz sand, active carbon, anthracite, manganese sand and other contact media.

Equipment Classification

Principle

Its working principle is to use the pores of the filter material, the mud and sand in the raw water, colloid, suspended matter and other impurities. Due to the scientific distribution of the filter material, the filter bed has a good effect on the interception of impurities, and the quality of water is greatly improved. The filtration accuracy of the filter is up to 10μm.

At the same time, the filter bed is gradually intercepted impurities in the water, so that the tank in each layer of the filter material will be fully uniform use, effective filter height, thus extending the service cycle of the filter material, reduce the operation cost of equipment (reduce the number of backwashing and backwashing water consumption).
